Is Pickup free to use?

Yes, completely free! Download, find games, join games, and start playing. Zero dollars. We might add some premium features later, but the core app will always be free.

How do I find games in my area?

Open the app, check the map. You'll see games happening around you. Filter by sport, time, or skill level to find your match. Easy.

What are park chats?

Every park has its own community chat. It's where regulars hang out, organize games, and stay connected. Think of it as your park's group chat. AI moderation keeps things chill and respectful.

How do achievements and leaderboards work?

Everyone unlocks achievements as they play. Simple. Leaderboards are optional and only for competitive skill level players, ranked by sport in your city. It's there for those who want to compete, but the main focus is just having fun and staying active.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Life happens, we get it. Cancel up to an hour before and you're good. Last minute? Just give the organizer a heads up in the chat so they're not waiting on you.

Do I need my own equipment?

Depends on the game. Organizers list what they're bringing and what you need to bring. Check the game details before you join so you're not showing up empty-handed.

How does Pickup protect my privacy?

We use AI content moderation across all chats, images, and user-created content to keep the community safe and respectful. Your personal data stays private and we never sell your information. You control your profile visibility and what you share. You can also report or block anyone who makes you uncomfortable.

When does Pickup launch?

October 25th in Boise! But here's the thing, Pickup is community driven, so you can use it anywhere. Download it, add your parks, start organizing games. Be the one to bring it to your city.

What makes Pickup community-driven?

You don't need to wait for us to "launch" in your city. Find your local parks, create games, invite your friends. The app works anywhere because the community makes it work. Boise's just where we're starting, you can bring it to your town.

Is Pickup available on both iOS and Android?

Yep, both iOS and Android at launch. Plus we'll have a web version if you want to browse games on your laptop. Use whatever works for you.
