Overview
Pickup is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all users. We have implemented comprehensive safety standards to protect against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
Age Requirements
Pickup is intended for users 18 years of age and older. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18.
Zero Tolerance Policy
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any content, behavior, or activity related to CSAE is strictly prohibited and will result in:
- Immediate account termination
- Permanent ban from the platform
- Reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
- Full cooperation with law enforcement agencies
- Preservation of evidence for legal proceedings
Content Moderation
We employ multiple layers of protection to ensure user safety:
- Proactive Monitoring: User-generated content is monitored for inappropriate material
- In-App Reporting: Easy-to-access reporting tools within the application
- Swift Action: Immediate review and action on reported violations
- Photo Scanning: Images shared in chats are monitored for CSAE content
- User Verification: Age verification measures at account creation
Reporting Mechanisms
Users can report inappropriate content or behavior through:
- In-App Reporting: Flag button available on all user-generated content
- Email: [email protected]
All reports are reviewed by our safety team within 24 hours. Serious violations are escalated immediately.
